 The TALEGATOR is a unique addition for the tailgate of any pickup
or ute. It is made of a durable moulded chemical-resistant plastic and is designed to withstand the sun as well as winter's wrath. The seat bottom is specially formed and contoured with a
patented air pocket in the bottom to provide a comfortable seat without
the need to add foam or a cushion.
The TALEGATOR
is very light weight at approximately 6 pounds (2.7kg). Its
full size is approximately 20" X 60" or 51cm X 152cm and is designed
to be easily trimmed to fit a smaller size tailgate as well. The
TaleGator trims down to a minimum of 43cm X 129cm. Some customers
choose to trim further to suit smaller vehicles, however, it may
require certain modifications that we do not guarantee. Quick and easy assembly instructions are included with each part.
There is also a smaller model under development that will fit the
majority of smaller tailgates that the current model doesn't.

fishing and the casual user who simply wants a comfortable tailgate seat available to them at all times.
Joe Fournier (inventor) has experienced many uncomfortable hours sitting on the tailgate of his pickup at various sporting events with his children. A couple of years ago, he decided there had to be a better way than hauling chairs to these events. As Joe owned a tool and fixture building business, he decided to make a prototype tool to test his better seat theory. The first part he made for his truck was a real hit with all his friends and became a subject of considerable conversation and interest with all who saw this product. A common reaction was "Why did I not think of this". Joe decided this product idea was a winner and proceeded to obtain strong patent coverage and protection.
Now Joe has two business partners who share his vision and passion for producing this product for many others to enjoy. They initially plan to start marketing this product on-line followed by introduction to a number of different distributors for sale in stores.
The TaleGator is the only product of its kind on the market. It is designed to fit
virtually all standard type tailgates.
Warranty Information: 12 months for any problems resulting from a manufacturing defect but will not cover parts that are abused. The defective part will need to returned to Tale Gator with shipping prepaid for our inspection before we can authorize replacement.
